The Family Photographer
With David out of the house more often for work, I've decided that the job of day to day family photography will have to be mine for the most part. Yesterday we bought me a nice camera, a Nikon D7000 and I can't wait to get out there into the autumn sunshine today and take some pics with it. This week to get inspired I've been pouring through the online archives of the Dutch photographer Kors van Bennekom. Throughout the 50s, 60s and 70s he captured his family's history so beautifully, taking spontaneous and intimate pictures of their daily life. They're so full of joy and with over 7000 of them online, it's a mesmerizing rabbit hole to disappear down for an afternoon. Check them out here.
