Breast Feeding Cal
I've been incredibly lucky with the whole breast feeding business. Right from the get-go Cal's been a great eater and I've never had sore or infected boobs. In July Cal will start going to creche for a couple of days a week and I guess he'll have to be weaned by then. I'm naturally apprehensive about how the whole thing works. Fortunately he also likes the bottle, although the few times I've had to pop out and David's given him a bottle of formula, he's spent the rest of the day throwing it up. Whether it's the amount or the actual formula itself, we're not sure. I'm looking forward to being a little more independent, but there's also definitely something addictive about breast feeding, like there's a part of my brain that wants to keep feeding him until I'm that weird lady in the cafe with a four year old sucking on her shriveled boobie.
I took this picture because I know that in the blink of an eye this time will be over.
