Teething Already?

Can Cal really be teething at 17 weeks?? He's gnawing on everything, dribbles like a hound-dog, wants to feed all day but keeps pulling away and is incredibly grumbly. It's like someone has taken our sunny little dude and swapped him with a hung-over 2 year old. He has two tiny little white dots in his gums where his front right tooth and incisor will be, which will probably be pretty cute when they do come through and stop giving him sad-face. Both David and I are stunned to think that we made something that is growing teeth. On it's own. It's still all so sci-fi to us.

Can someone explain teeth and breastfeeding to me again..?
