Family & Friends
I've lived overseas for over ten years now (eight years in Amsterdam and three in London before that) and my relationships with family and friends have been conducted mostly over Skype, email, phone and with some all too infrequent holidays together. So to have all my favorite people in one place at one time was a big rollicking feast of love. My mum stayed with us and threw herself into full-time babysitting - quite happily sharing a room with Cal who was more than stoked to have a midnight party pal, my brothers and dad camped out in a beautiful apartment on the Vondelpark and my girlfriends got great airb&b apartments in my neighborhood, which has been a delight. There's nothing like running into your long-lost best friend on the way to the supermarket. Here are some pics from the week leading up to our wedding.
