Cal Meets Uncle Simon

Another day, another favorite new family member to charm. Yesterday my brother came down from Copenhagen to meet Cal for the first time. I was worried that all the excitement and adventures out of the house would result in more fussiness, but actually it's the exact opposite. Cal is a completely different baby this week. He grins and giggles. He listens intently when you talk to him. He's happy to chow down in noisy cafes and he sleeps about 10 hours at night with just one feed in the middle! He also fell in love with his first soft toy, or "knuffle" as the Dutch say. It's Little Peter Rabbit. What can I say, the boy's got taste.

"That's the first time someone's called me Uncle Simon un-ironically."
