Dream Feeding

No, this is not a post about all my dreamiest menus, 'dream feeding' as I have discovered this week, is the term applied to the practice of sneaking into your sleeping babe's room, gently lifting him out of bed and popping a booby into his mouth, all without waking him up in the hope that topping up his tummy at 10.30pm will keep him asleep until 7am. Cal has been sleeping through the night but waking up at 5 for a while and so I thought I'd give it a shot last night. Happy to report it worked a treat - he drank both sides without opening his eyes, was still fast asleep when I put him back into bed and then slept till 6.30. Now I just have to train myself to sleep past 5am!
