Post Wedding Madness

David and I like to do things our own way. I proposed to him. We planned our baby before our wedding. Our best friends married us in an apple orchard. We walked each other down the garden path/aisle, and instead of going on a honeymoon we decided to go straight back to work the monday after the wedding. And now I'm going a little bit crazy. Also Cal started eating solids this week and the making of food has made my life approximately 15% busier. I have no time. I don't even have time to be writing this blog. I should be working, or sleeping, or doing admin. But I have to admit that I kind of like the craziness. My life has always been pretty quiet and measured and the ever-mounting chaos creeping into our lives in the form of that chubby little dude asleep in the next room feels like relief. Insert motherhood cliche #43 - I love that my life is not all about me anymore. Having said that, I do think the world should know that I made something that eats food (and loves it so much he grunts between mouthfuls for me to hurry up with the next bite). Pretty cool huh?
