Summer in the Vondelpark

There's magic in the Vondelpark on a summer evening when the sun glows golden as it slips sideways through the trees. Tanned kids wheel like insects around a patchwork of picnic blankets. Husbands arrive with extra bottles of wine, to applause, and dinner and baths are for tomorrow.
