David's Hip

Last year David had a hip replacement. Kind of crazy for a 37 year old. It all went swimmingly until last month when the other bloody hip started playing up. So yesterday we took a trip down to Leiden hospital for a check-up. When we got there David's surgeon had been called away to an emergency operation and I got in trouble for using my camera in the hospital. Fun times. Later during the day the doctor called to say that he'd seen the x-rays and that there was some wear on the other hip but that he probably had a few more years before we'll have to take him to the knackers, which is good because I do like having him around.
