Sick: The Gastro Episode

Three days ago Cal picked up a heinous dose of gastroenteritis. He's had vomiting and diarrhea for days and hasn't moved from the couch or his cot, except to go see the doctor yesterday. We've created a little nest for him on the couch and he sleeps most of the day, waking up occasionally for a sip of water or milk. It's so sad. I miss him. I feel like he's been away for days and I can't wait until he gets home. That said, on the upside I've had three days on the couch to read, catch up on season 2 of Girls and stroke his soft forehead which I'm enjoying in a guilty Flowers in the Attic kind of way.

Please Doctor Bear, make it go away now..
