On His Own!
In the past couple of weeks Cal has had an interesting software update of fierce independence. For a long while now I've made excuses for dressing him and putting his shoes on, because even though I grumble when we're late for kindy, I love pulling him into my lap and threading his arms and legs through clothing - just like when he was a baby.
But not anymore. He can undress himself On His Own! He can cut sausages, unzip his life jacket, pour his milk On His Own!
And yes, that is the biggest, sharpest knife anyone has ever entrusted a 3.5 year old with. And no, he doesn't want help, thanks.
