Reunited

The awful year without grandparents is over. Nicky and Hans have had their vacs and we were finally able to go down to Buren and visit them. For Stella everything was new, and for Cal it was a return to his childhood, adventure-land and more of the people who love him, which is so important for 9 year olds. I can't wait for the same moment with my parents.

Cal had his first experience of riding on a very obliging Shetland pony, and was hooked. He's asking for lessons, which I'll happily take him to. Stella was wide-eyed at the expansiveness and colours of the countryside, such a welcome change from her last year of our apartment, Kindy and the playground down the road.
